What my partners are saying

Rouzana provided essential support through the initial planning stages of our large research project at the Woolfolk Center. Her expertise in child language and implementation science were vital to our creation of a successful project. She provided exactly the kind of support I was looking for. Rouzana tailors her services to the individual client’s needs. Our meetings were incredibly productive due to her excellent problem solving and communication skills. She helped us find solutions to barriers we faced by conducting thorough background research. She created resources that we will continue to use throughout the project. Rouzana is truly passionate about implementation science and will go above and beyond for her clients.

— Corinne Neal, PhD, CCC-SLP, Associate Director, Woolfolk Center for Language Disorders, Austin, TX, USA

My research area is language and communication in neurodevelopmental conditions and doing research that is meaningful and respectful to people I study is my primary ambition and goal in my work. Working towards achieving this goal is not that straightforward and can be overwhelming, as it was for me. Yet this has been changing since I started collaborating with Rouzana for nearly a year ago. Rouzana has assisted me in writing several implementation grants. Among several aspects that I could mention I enjoy most when working with Rouzana is that she really notices and highlights the crucial points to strengthen applications that I don’t see by myself. Rouzana is not only a competent and knowledgeable researcher and implementation scientist, but she is also an expert you can trust. I warmly and highly recommend Rouzana if you need to write implementation grant proposals or need other kind of help with your implementation research projects.

— Tamara Kalandadze, PhD, Associate Professor, Østfold University College, Halden, Norway

I connected with Rouzana at the start of a grant funded project to establish a Community-Academic Partnership between the MGH Institute of Health Professions and the John F. Kennedy Family Service Center in Charlestown, Massachusetts. Rouzana led the needs assessment process and incorporated an implementation science lens to the project through her focus on frameworks, system-level processes, community engagement, and tailoring of the proposal to meet the center’s needs. Along with her technical skills and strong understanding of implementation science, Rouzana was wonderful to work with while we built this community partnership. Her professionalism stood out in her work with our group, as well as our community partner. She demonstrated a strength-based approach to community engagement and qualitative research methods, which made our community partners feel welcomed, engaged, and valued. She clearly outlined what components of the project she would complete and met the objectives and deadlines of the project consistently. We look forward to collaborating with Rouzana in the future!

— Cathy Leslie, PhD, OTR/L, MOT, CEIS, Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy, School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, MGH Institute of Health Professions, Boston, MA, USA

Rouzana offers insightful feedback on implementation science with a focus on real system-level, sustainable change. She has worked with numerous US federally funded and private grants and within diverse systems. Recently, she reviewed one of my National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant applications. Her feedback was invaluable and greatly improved the focus and clarity of our proposed studies. I highly recommend reaching out to Rouzana to consider ways to infuse implementation science into your research work.
